You Don’t Need “Pro” to Be Pro-Ductive
Even though I’m a “Pro” when it comes to Apple gear, I’ll let you in on a little secret: I don’t use the so-called Pro Apps.
Why? Because they’re way too hard to learn—and even harder to teach. My clients don’t need a 12-week course to crop a photo, edit a clip, or create a quick presentation . They just want things to work.
And the good news is, Apple already gives you everything you need for free the moment you buy your Mac, iPhone, or iPad. Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Photos, iMovie, GarageBand—these apps are not “lite” versions anymore. They’re powerful, well-designed, and built to work together seamlessly.
Spending money on Final Cut Pro or Logic might make sense if you’re producing the next blockbuster or scoring a film—but for everyday creative work, the difference just isn’t worth the climb.
Even with Michael Coury Tech by your side, that learning curve is steep—and for what? A few extra bells and whistles you’ll never touch.
So, I’ll stick with the Apple originals. They’re elegant, intuitive, and ready to go—no manual required.
That’s real “Pro” behavior right there.
